Santellone Resort is set in a former Benedictine monastery in the mediaeval area of Brescia. It offers en suite rooms with air conditioning, free outdoor parking and free Wi-Fi.

Quiet, private location. Easy bus access to Brescia. Really nice breakfast. Staff were very helpful and always considerate.

Very Good
Location is great (calm and quiet area), beautiful architecture and nature. Breakfast is good for Italian standard but might be considered more limited for those who are used to huge breakfast buffet.
- Once you already have booked you will receive a message that the pool you saw on the pictures is not a part of the hotel but has to be paid separately. How much you have to pay is not clear as the information you receive by mail, the information the multiple receptionists give you and the information you receive directly at the pool are all different. Latest we understood is that it is 20 € per person per day (from 10 - 19 o`clock ), meaning if you are a family of 5 who wants to use the pool every day you have to add 100 € per night to the price you booked the hotel. We paid for the pool at check out, however friends of ours were staying there at the same time and used the pool more than us and they did not have to pay (in fact they were told it is free if you are a guest of the hotel). All in all this confusion around if the pool costs and if so how much was a big minus and we never received any clarity from the hotel personnel we were asking. The staff at the pool on the other hand is great, welcoming, service minded and just giving positive vibes. - If you want to go for a walk you have to call them to get back in as the door only recognizes cars, not people.

What was the highlight of Santellone Resort Hotel
Our stay was pleasant and the staff was professional and friendly.
The location of the venue. It was quite, peaceful. The rooms was spacious, clean and easy to access. Breakfast had a variety of foods which we both enjoyed.
The flooring by the pool was dangerous as my partner trippedd and fell down, thankfully not badly injured, however the floor needs to be repaired to avoid accidents like this occurring in the future.
